 NOT VOTING FOR  JOHN CORNYN 2026 PRIMARY


   Texas will be holding their primary runoff election on May 26, 2026.  The U. S. Senate seat will be decided for the general election.  The candidates for the runoff election are Senator John Cornyn and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.  I will not vote for John Cornyn.  In fact, I will vote for another party if he wins the primary, just as I voted against Senator Ted Cruz.

  He has seven offices in Texas:  one in Austin, one in Dallas, in Houston, in Lubbock, in San Antonio, in Tyler, and in Harlingen.     He is allowed up to 4.5 million dollars for them.  I guess they just send out form letters to anyone who contacts them, as that is how I was treated.  I can save our government 4.5 million dollars a year.  Ask me how.  The Senator also has an office in D.C.

   John Cornyn was elected to the U. S. Senate in November of 2002.  He was in office for the two terms of George W. Bush, two terms of Bill Clinton, two terms of Barrack Obama, one term of Donald Trump, one term of Joe Biden, and is still in office for Donald Trump's second term.  His campaign ad states that he stood with President Trump 99% of the time.  The way I see it, he also stood with Clinton, Obama, and Biden 99% of the time.    

   In all of that time in office, what has he accomplished?  Personally, I asked for his help to recover the twelve months of Medicare disability payments I qualified for but was denied.  That was roughly $20,000.00.  He sent me a form letter, which had nothing to do with why I contacted him.  

   In addition, the Trinity River Authority (TRA) is a joint effort between federal and state.  He has not dredged the Trinity River to remove debris and allow room for runoff waters.  It is full of debris:  tree limbs, cars, sandbars, etc.  This is John Cornyn.  So, when Hurricane Harvey hit and the TRA opened their flood gates, that water destroyed my home and belongings.  I had my property insured for vandalism but lost that $250,000.00 because they claimed it was flooded by the hurricane.  I say they vandalized it!

   So you see, for me, this primary is personal.  The national debt has increased over 32.5 trillion dollars during Senator Cornyn's time in D.C.  He has NEVER had a federal balanced budget while in office, even though that is the law.  There is rampant waste and funding for foreigners who have invaded our country.  According to The Heritage Foundation,  "As a group, illegal aliens impose a net fiscal cost (government benefits received minus taxes paid) of $110 billion per year on U.S. taxpayers."  This is John Cornyn.

STATEWIDE ADMENDMENTS TO THE TEXAS CONSTITUTION

Let's begin at the beginning and explain how we get proposed constitutional amendments on the ballot:  The Texas State Legislature must propose the amendment in a joint resolution of both the Texas State Senate and the Texas House of Representatives.  The joint resolution can originate in either the House or the Senate.  The resolution must be adopted by a vote of at least two-thirds of the membership of each house of the legislature.  That amounts to a minimum of 100 votes in the House of Representatives and 21 votes in the Senate.  This is what your elected officials have been doing during this legislature session, including the special sessions:

CONSTITUTIONAL ADMENDMENTS

Proposition 1:  recognizes the right to engage in farming, ranching, timber production, and wildlife management and enshrines it in the Texas Constitution.

   i vote YES.  government has no right to restrict Americans from these activities.

Proposition 2:  provides the option to local municipalities to exempt child-care facilities from property taxes within their jurisdiction.

  i vote NO.  they are wanting to exempt government subsidized facilities only and leave hard working Americans to carry the full burden.

Proposition 3:  prohibits a net worth or wealth tax on individuals or business entities from ever being imposed in the state of Texas.

   i vote YES.  we don't want to penalize success.

Proposition 4:  delivers $12 billion in property tax relief by increasing the homestead exemption to $100,000, establishing a 20% cap on the taxable value of certain non-homestead properties and creating elected positions on local appraisal boards.

   i vote YES.  property owners do not own their property if they have to pay for it every year (so to speak by being taxed through eternity).  currently the appraisal board is comprised of "appointed" by the taxing units. ie, local, state, county, etc.  it would be good to have these as elected positions.

Proposition 5:  establishes the Texas University Fund to provide performance-based funding to Texas colleges so they can achieve national prominence as major research universities

   i vote NO.  we already have a fund.  it's called the general fund.  they need to manage our tax money better.  we don't need to achieve national prominence as major research universities.  they waste so much money on some of the funded studies/research as it is.

Proposition 6:  creates the New Water Supply for Texas Fund, the statewide water public awareness account, and the Texas Water Fund to address critical water challenges across the state.

   i vote NO.  we already have a fund for that.  it's called the general fund.  maybe they should cut waste if they want to spend money elsewhere.  we don't need higher taxes while we are dealing with Biden's inflation.  Let's go Brandon

Proposition 7:  creates the Texas Energy Fund for the development of reliable electric generating facilities across the state to provide energy security to all Texans.

   i vote NO.  we already have a fund for that.  it's called the general fund.

Proposition 8:  creates the broadband infrastructure fund to facilitate affordable and universal access to high-speed internet statewide.

   i vote NO.  we already have a fund for that.  it's called the general fund.

Proposition 9:  provides a cost-of-living adjustment for retired teachers in Texas.  The amount of the COLA increase would be 2/3/6 percent depending on the member's retirement date.

   i have so many questions about this proposition.  if the teachers have never received a cost of living adjustment, i could vote YES on this proposition.  i understand this will result in transferring $3.3 billion from the general fund to accomplish this.

Proposition 10:  exempts medical or biomedical products manufacturer' equipment or inventory from ad valorem taxation to protect our healthcare network and strengthen our medical supply chain.

  i vote NO.  our healthcare system needs to be overhauled.  money will not fix their problems

Proposition 11:  permits conservation and reclamation districts in El Paso County to issue bonds similar to other districts of similar size across the state.

   i vote YES but i don't know why El Paso County can't take care of their own issues without a constitutional amendment.

Proposition 12:  abolishes the office of county treasurer in Galveston County to provide for more government efficiency. 

   i vote YES.  we should abolish a lot of government offices

Proposition 13:  increases the mandatory age of retirement for state-level justices and judges from age 75 to age 79.

  i vote NO.  in fact, they should have to pass some sort of competency test each election cycle.

Proposition 14:  creates the centennial parks conservation fund for the creation and improvement of state parks.

   i vote NO.  we already have a fund for that.  it's called the general fund.  


It looks like our legislature was overspending from the general fund and wanting to create other ways to increase our tax burden by creating alternate funding.  Tell me that Texans are smarter than politicians.

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS


   The news stories from June 28, 2014, was that Obama is seeking funds to stem illegal immigration and speed up deportations.  He is also asking for broader power for the Homeland Security.  Let's examine these two sentences relative to Obama:
   Breitbart News reported on June 25, 2014, on a hearing in the House Homeland Security Committee, where a Pennsylvania Congressman, Lou Barletta, raised the issue of  an advertisement dated January 29, 2014 for "Escort Services for Unaccompanied Alien Children".  This "want ad" suggests that Obama planned for children to be flooding across the U.S. border.  Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson also mentioned that Obama and Biden have visited with the Mexican President a few weeks ago, suggesting they were in agreement with the children being used to pressure Congress to grant amnesty to all the foreign criminals.
   Then, Nancy Pelosi went to Brownsville, Texas and toured a Border Patrol Facility where these children are being held.  The Associated Press reports that she said that "this issue should not be a political one, but she is also hoping that House Speaker John Boehner and the rest of the members of Congress will do something."  Which, is to say that Obama created this issue to force Congress to give him what he wants.  The fact is that Pelosi view these criminal invaders the same as the rest of the Liberals.  They think Mexico, Canada, and the United States "is a community with a border going through it." (those were Pelosi's words)  They don't recognize the sovereignty of the different countries.

    Senator Kirsten Gillibrand , D  New York, went on This Week with George Stephanopoulos and revealed that Democrats knew President Obama was lying when he repeatedly said "If you like your insurance and your doctor, you can keep them".  That was a relief to me, because I was beginning to believe Americans had elected the MOST STUPIDEST  people in this country to represent us in our government.  It came as a relief to me to learn that these Democrats and other liberals who vote with them KNEW our President was lying and it was all a ploy to advance redistribution of wealth.

TEXAS BOARD OF EDUCATION DISTRICT 8
     There are two positions up for election this year:
     Position 1, currently held by Elizabeth Harrell
     Position 2, currently held by Creg Mixon

I am voting "yes" on all 10 Propositions except #1.  These are opinion polls, not policy referendums.

1) Texas should not restrict or prohibit prayer in public schools.

2) Texas should reject restrictions on the right to keep and bear arms.

3) Texas should ban the practice of taxpayer-funded lobbying, which allows your tax dollars to be spent on lobbyists who work against the taxpayer.

4)  Texas should support the construction of a physical barrier and use existing defense-grade surveillance equipment along the entire southern border of Texas.

5) Texas parents or legal guardians of public school children under the age of 18 should be the sole decision makers for all their children's healthcare decisions, including, but not limited to, psychological assessment and treatment, contraception, and sex education.

6) Texas should ban chemical castration, puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and genital mutilation surgery on all minor children for transition purposes, given that Texas children as young as three (3) are being transitioned from their biological sex to the opposite sex.

7) Texans should protect and preserve all historical monuments, artifacts, and buildings, such as the Alamo Cenotaph and our beloved Alamo,  and should oppose re-imagining of the Alamo site.

8) Texas election officials should heed the directives of the Office of the Governor to purge illegal voters from the voter rolls and verify that each new registered voter is a US Citizen

9) Bail in Texas should be based only on a person's danger to society and risk of flight, not that person's ability to pay.

10) Texas should limit our state legislators' terms to 12 years.

PROPOSITION 1

"The constitutional amendment permitting a person to hold more than one office as a municipal judge at the same time."

Explained:

   The Texas Constitution (Article 16, Section 40) already allows some people to hold more than one office at the same time, such as county commissioner, justice of the peace, notary public, postmaster, etc.  I don't think some of these should be allowed.  Right now, a municipal judge can hold more than one office at the same time if he is appointed.  Usually someone is appointed to fill out someone else's term.  This would allow municipal judges to hold more than one paid public office at the same time, meaning he could simultaneously preside over multiple municipalities, regardless of whether they were appointed or elected.  I believe each city or municipality should be allowed to elect their own municipal judge.
   Therefore, I vote against Prop. 1.

PROPOSITION 2

   "The constitutional amendment providing for the issuance of additional general obligation bonds by the Texas Water Development Board in an amount not to exceed $200 million to provide financial assistance for the development of certain projects in economically distressed areas."

Explained:

   The money from the debt (bonds) would go to the Economically Distressed Areas Program (EDAP).  This is another dedicated fund which is not how any of this is supposed to work.While it would raise money to replenish funds to finance water and wastewater infrastructure in economically distressed areas, money in the general revenue fund will also be used...to the net amount of $3 million dollar through 2021.  Dedicated funds are to be avoided and infrastructure improvements should be funded using general revenue.
   Therefore, I vote against Prop. 2.

PROPOSITION 3

   "The constitutional amendment authorizing the legislature to provide for a temporary exemption from ad valorem taxation of a portion of the appraised value of certain property damaged by a disaster."

   First of all, I am against property tax.  Also, I believe assessing tax on some random "value" is a ponzi scheme.  If we have a property tax, it should be on the amount paid for that property, not what someone in office feels it should be worth.   Secondly, the state should not impose a burden on local government (who determines property tax) by taking control away from local government to collect that tax.  Furthermore, this exemption applies to citizens who qualify before the tax rate is set.  Hurricane season does not end when tax rates are adopted by local governments. Finally, this only gives the local government the CHOICE to exempt the tax and imposes predetermined damage categories.  I believe the state should not take away local power.  Citizens are more aware of who, in local government, are responsible for outcomes of policies and are more likely to vote them out of office if they don't agree with their policies.
   Therefore, I am against Prop. 3.

PROPOSITION 4

  "The constitutional amendment prohibiting the imposition of an individual income tax, including a tax on an individual's share of partnership and unincorporated association income."

Explained:
   This proposition prohibits the Texas Legislature from establishing a personal state income tax.

A personal income tax would grow government because someone has to administer it.  With government, it is never one person, but a large bureaucracy.  Besides, any net revenue from that tax must be used for the support of education rather than being added to the general fund.
Therefore, I am for Prop. 4.

PROPOSITION 5

   "The constitutional amendment dedicating the revenue received from the existing state sales and use taxes that are imposed on sporting goods to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and the Texas Historical Commission to protect Texas' natural areas, water quality, and history by acquiring, managing, and improving state and local parks and historic sites while not increasing the rate of the state sales and use taxes."

EXPLAINED:

   Again, there should not be a dedicated revenue fund.  In fact, there is a loophole in place now that prevents all the funds from going to the parks and historical sites.  In the current political climate, why would we use taxpayer funds to protect and promote historical sites when our government facilitates mob rule to tear them down?   If you don't like the way the legislature manages tax revenue, vote them out of office.
Therefore, I vote against Prop. 5.

PROPOSITION 6

   "The constitutional amendment authorizing the legislature to increase by $3 billion the maximum bond amount authorized for the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas."

EXPLAINED:

   This proposed amendment would increase the maximum bond amount for the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) from $3 billion to $6 billion.  CPRIT provides grants and supports programs that advance cancer research.  The organization, begun in 2007, is currently set up to receive $3 billion in funding until 2022.

  First of all, who knew that this program even existed?   Well, it does.  The money from the sale of bonds support a large administration.  Most of the rest of the money is handed out to various "research" programs.  Oh, except the mismanaging of the funds, which resulted in a ban on CPRIT grants in 2012.  The ban was lifted in October, 2013.  October is the 10th month of the year, so you could say it was a year or two later.  Mismanaging funds is another problem with these unaccountable agencies.   This one just wants to double the BILLIONS of dollars they are supposed to manage.   Tell me, has cancer been cured?    This is a huge waste of money.
  Therefore, I vote against Prop. 6.

PROPOSITION 7

   "The constitutional amendment allowing increased distributions to the available school fund."

Explained:

   The School Land Board, an independent entity of the General Land Office, oversees the management, sale, and leasing of more than 13 million acres of land for the Permanent School Fund.  The State Board of Education can then make distributions from this fund to the Available School Fund.  The revenue generated from the land is used to purchase real estate and make investments to help fund public education through the Available School Fund.

   This proposition would increase from $300 million to $600 million the amount the General Land Office could distribute to the Available School Fund each year.

   This appears, first of all, to be a power struggle between the School Land Board and The State Board of Education, as the School Land Board wants to bypass The State Board of Education and deposit distributions directly into the Available School Fund rather than into the Permanent School Fund.  That affects the amount of funds the State Board of Education is required to distribute from the Permanent School Fund to the Available School Fund.

   But The State Board of Education is required to make a percentage-based biennial distribution to the Available School Fund from the Permanent School Fund.  With the School Land Board depositing distributions directly into the Available School Fund, the Permanent School Fund has less for The State Board of Education to transfer to the Available School Fund.  This could possibly result in less funding for schools.

   The School Land Board has a history of making questionable investments at the expense of public education funding, so why would we bypass the checks and balances that are in place to maximize their accountability?  Doubling the distribution just sounds ridiculous to me.  If there is excess funds available from the management of the School Land Board, they should re-invest it to grow future funds available.
Therefore, I vote against Prop. 7.

PROPOSITION 8

"The constitutional amendment providing for the creation of the flood infrastructure fund to assist in the financing of drainage, flood mitigation, and flood control projects."

Explained:

   Proposition 8 would create the Flood Infrastructure Fund (FIF) as a special fund outside of general revenue.  A one-time distribution from the Economic Stabilization Fund, also known as the "rainy day fund" would establish the FIF.  The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) would distribute the FIF funds to local governments through loans or, in some cases, as grants.  The money would be used to establish and maintain flood control structures and drainage infrastructure throughout the state, especially in economically distressed areas.

  If passed, Prop 8 would require cooperation among all impacted parties.  A local government would receive money from the FIF only if it worked with other governments in the region and listened to stakeholder concerns in public meetings.  The local government would also have to submit a technical analysis of the plan (to the state?), comparing it to other possible projects in the region, and a proposal to repay the loan.

   The last time I can find that the Trinity River was dredged was prior to 1977.   Flood control is the responsibility of both local and federal governments, not the state government.  That is why we have a county flood control and a city drainage fee.  If the state wants to get involved in the flooding issue, the state attorney general should file a class action suit against the federal government on behalf of Texans for damages which were a direct result of their  neglect.
Therefore, I vote against Prop 8.

PROPOSITION 9

"The constitutional amendment authorizing the legislature to exempt from ad valorem taxation precious metal held in a precious metal depository located in this state."

Explained:

   Texas opened a precious metals depository in 2018, run by a private company but overseen by the state government.  The Constitution requires all real and tangible personal property to be taxed on its value unless exempted.  These ad valorem (property) taxes are imposed at the time of purchase or exchange of precious metals.  Prop 9 would exempt from taxation precious metals held in a precious metal depository in the state.

   Texas counties do not enforce the property tax on precious metals, so a constitutional amendment is unnecessary.  Besides, it would give preference through a tax break for precious metals over other investment choices.  The argument is that the exemption "would increase chances that the Texas depository could join COMEX, the leading marketplace for precious metals exchange.  My argument is that if they want to join COMEX, they will find a way.
Therefore, I vote against Prop. 9.

PROPOSITION 10

"The constitutional amendment to allow the transfer of a law enforcement animal to a qualified caretaker in certain circumstances."

Explained:

Proposition 10 would allow change the status of retired law enforcement animals from "surplus property" to a more humane status.  This proposition would allow the animals to retire and be transferred to their original handler or another qualified caretaker with no adoption fee.  Currently, they can only be auctioned, donated, or destroyed.
I have a heart, therefore, I vote for Prop. 10.

   Here is some information you might want to know if you are looking for a remodeling contractor in Texas:  

First off, there is no such thing as a "Licsensed General Contractor" in the state of Texas.
Be warned when one says they are.
Secondly, were there permits pulled on your specific job for General Construction, Electrical or Plumbing? If not, there's y
our second warning. If so, go to the City and the Contractor must have a Surety Bond filed with the City in order to pull a permit. This will insure that your project is completed and the Contractor has to pay all cost associated with your project.

All too often Contractors and Homeowners avoid permits because of the red tape.
They are there to protect the Homeowner. Yes, it increases job cost and property values, but there's always costs associated with doing things correctly.

ORIGINAL TEN AMENDMENTS TO
THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA



Amendment I (1791)

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.The first ten amendments comprise the Bill of Rights. The first amendment protects religious freedom by prohibiting the establishment of an official or exclusive church or sect. Free speech and free press are protected, although they can be limited for reasons of defamation, obscenity, and certain forms of state censorship, especially during wartime. The freedom of assembly and petition also covers marching, picketing and pamphleteering.



Amendment II (1791)
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.Whether this provision protects the individual's right to own firearms or deals only with the collective right of the people to arm and maintain a militia was long debated until the Supreme Court ruled in 2008 that the amendment protected individuals’ right to possess firearms unconnected to any service in a militia.



Amendment III (1791)
No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.This virtually obsolete provision was in response to anger over the British military practice of quartering soldiers in colonists' homes.



Amendment IV (1791)
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.Applying to arrests and to searches of persons, homes, and other private places, this amendment requires a warrant, thereby placing a neutral magistrate between the police and the citizen.



Amendment V (1791)
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.Indictment by a grand jury requires the decision of ordinary citizens to place one in danger of conviction. Double jeopardy means that when one has been convicted or acquitted, the government cannot place that person on trial again. The self-incrimination clause means that the prosecution must establish guilt by independent evidence and not by extorting a confession from the suspect, although voluntary confessions are not precluded.  Due process of the law requires the government to observe proper and traditional methods in depriving one of an important right. Finally, when the government seizes property to use in the public interest, it must pay the owner fair value.



Amendment VI (1791)
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence.Defendants in criminal cases are entitled to public trials that follow relatively soon after initiation of the charges. Witnesses must be brought to the trial to testify before the defendant, judge, and jury. Defendants are also entitled to compel witnesses on their behalf to appear and testify.



Amendment VII (1791)
In Suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise re-examined in any Court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.Mistrustful of judges, the people insisted on the right to jury trial in civil cases. The minimum level, $20, is so low today that it would burden the federal judiciary, so various devices have been developed to permit alternative resolution of disputes.



Amendment VIII (1791)
Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.Neither bail nor punishment for a crime are to be unreasonably severe. The "cruel and unusual punishments" clause has been the basis for challenges to the death penalty.



Amendment IX (1791)
The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.Failure of the Constitution to mention a specific right does not mean that the government can abridge that right, but its protection has to be found elsewhere.



Amendment X (1791)
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.The federal government is the recipient of constitutionally delegated powers.  What is not delegated remains in the states or in the people.

#NEVERTRUMP

   So, a criminal, a communist, and a sociopath were in a bar....

   Any political conversation on facebook or comments on online political stories related to the Republican Presidential primary has people allegedly supporting Donald Trump verbally beating down people who state they are #nevertrump.   Those supporting Mr. Trump are violently trying to deny Americans of their First Amendment right of free speech.  They love to say, "Just get over yourself!", as though if you are #nevertrump,  you are giving the Presidency to Secretary Clinton.  Many people have been "blocked" on my facebook due to their desire to control me in that manner.

   I am one of many Americans who are #nevertrump,  and I don't worry about the Democrats winning the White House.  There are a number of reasons for my lack of concern.  One is that many Democrats are voting in the Republican primaries.  Many are voting early and often.  Many dead people and illegals are voting.  They are trying to wreck the Republican party, which I really don't care if they do.  The Republicans have been in control of the House and Senate for how long? and they have done nothing rational.  Oh, a few use their brains, but the majority vote Democrat.

   Another reason is that I am a real Christian.  I know that 2 Corinthians is said, Second Corinthians.  I am aware that the generation born in 1948 will not pass away before Christ comes back for His Bride, the Church.  So, as for me and my family, I have no concerns about the death and destruction that will be forthcoming when either Clinton or Trump wins the White House.

   When Ted Cruz announced his bid for the Presidency, I was so excited to have someone who not only talked the talk, but also walked the walk.  He is the whole package.  Anyone who believed anything that came out of Donald Trump's mouth about Senator Cruz, is so very obviously too lazy to invest their time in researching whether statements made are true or false.  These are the type of people who are driving this election cycle:  lazy and stupid.

   So I am contacting the Republican National Committee and verbalizing my displeasure with their presumptive nominee.  I will also be writing in Senator Cruz's name for President in November if he is not on the ballot.

   Americans should unite behind Senator Cruz and have our own "American Spring", even though it would be the fall.  I urge you to contact the RNC and denounce Trump for the Republican nominee.  There is no good reason to have to choose between a criminal, a communist, and a sociopath.  After all, haven't we had eight years of unbelievable evil coming from our government already?

   As far as giving the Presidency to Clinton, don't blame me!  You had the opportunity this year to actually vote for a Conservative, not just a Republican.  You are the one to blame if Clinton is elected, you and others like you.  I am #nevertrump, #neverclinton!

   Stop believing everything you are fed by the main stream media.  They will have you believe that Christians are evil people.  That by itself is contradictory.  Christians try to emulate Jesus Christ and He is anything BUT evil!

   As we have been studying the Book of Daniel in The Bible, consider the parallels to the current political climate in America.  While it is true that our city has not been conquered and our young men captured physically and transported to a foreign land, let us compare our spiritual state to The Hebrew's physical state of those times of Daniel's:

   There were two reasons that God allowed the Chaldeans to capture the Hebrews.  1) The Hebrews failed to keep even one sabbatic year  (planting 6 years, resting the land on the 7th).  God had told them that if they would give every seventh year to Him, they would have abundance in the sixth, enough to last them until harvest in the eighth year.  Whether it was from coveting or just plain humanistic rebellion, they chose to ignore God's law and plant and harvest every year for 490 years.  God gave them time to repent and return to Him, but they refused. 2) There was a second and greater reason why God chose to give His heritage over to the power of the Chaldeans:  For centuries idolatry had been gaining ground among them.  They had disobeyed the second Commandment and turned away from the One True God to serve the false gods of the heathen.  Babylon was the home of idolatry; so the Jews were sent there that they might learn to loathe the idols they had loved.

   There was a little company of boys who set themselves against all the evil of the kingdom of Babylon.  They determined not to defile themselves; and these were the men to whom God could communicate His mind.  This is the big deal today that Christians are being persecuted for whether it is being a virgin football quarterback or not promoting the homosexual lifestyle in our bakery.

   We have our role models:  Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah.  They set themselves against all the evil of the kingdom of Babylon and if we are going to get the mind of God in studying His Book, we must remember that it consists of revelations, deliverances and visions given to a spiritually-minded men who was separated from the iniquity of his day.  So, in order to understand it, we also need to be spiritually-minded and walk apart from all that is unholy, all that would hinder progress in divine things.

   It has been said that "what is one man's meat is another man's poison."  The Bible may become poison to an unspiritual man, if he reads it without being in subjection to God.   On the other hand, place The Bible in the hands of a spiritually-minded person--one who has bowed in God's presence, owning his lost condition; who has trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior, and who is now seeking to live for Him, and to let his whole life be subject to His Word--that man sits down to The Bible, and he finds it to be food for his soul, building him up on his most holy faith.
 
   These Christians know that if you want enlightenment in divine things, you will walk in the power of an ungrieved Spirit, for "the secret of the Lord is with them that fear Him."  All true Christians should know this.  We have been given unalienable rights to worship our God without fear of persecution.

   In spite of what you are fed from the media, we don't HATE anyone.  That is just a bunch of poppy cock that the liberals push, bearing false witness against their neighbor.  It is written in 1 Corinthians 6:  9 - 11:  "Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God?  Do not be deceived:  neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men 10) nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.  11) And that is what some of you were.  But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.  (NIV)  We don't hate you, in fact, we identify with you!

   However, we are now walking a different path.  We love you.  It is our prayer that maybe tomorrow you may join us on this wonderful journey.  In the mean time, we who know our God will firmly resist "the king of Babylon".  Honoring God, we will not be moved!

   www.webmd.com  has a slide show of fetal development from "conception" at http://www.webmd.com/baby/ss/slideshow-fetal-development.  This is something that everybody should have been exposed to in school.  Do you remember?

   In Luke 2:5, we read about the Virgin Mary, who "was with child", which described her pregnancy (with Jesus).  The Bible does not say she had a clump of cells in her womb that were growing like a cancer.
   So, where do seven judges in America (The Supreme Court) get their "power" to give a woman the right to end a life?  The Preamble of the Constitution states that we "are endowed with certain unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" and these rights come from "our Creator".  How did seven judges decide that they are "our Creator"?

   I do not understand, with the forms of birth control we have available to us today, why this barbaric law is on the books.  Oh, wait!  It is big business.  Follow the money.  It is not about morality or the life of the "mother", it is about the millions of dollars....blood money!

COMMUNITY ORGANIZER-DEFINED

   Have you ever wondered what a community organizer is?  What he does?  How he thinks?  There was a television show named "Bonanza" years ago which might shed a little light on the subject.  See if you can google Season 5, episode 28:  A Pink Cloud Comes From Old Carthay.  In the show, we learn that community organizers operate on the 3 laws of "progress" (progressive):

1) Never mind my own business.
2) Never allow people to be content with their fate.
3) Never be reasonable.  Reason leads to compromise and compromise leads to defeat.

   Then, I was researching my Holy Bible study blog, http://omaswisdom.blogspot.com, and I ran across what appears to be not only the Occupy group defined but also our elected officials, the "Washington Cartel".  It comes from John Phillip's Commentary on the Proverbs.  Dr. Phillips was in Orlando visiting a Native American pastor and asked the pastor to illustrate "the sinful fool".  Here is how he replied:

   "As a lad I grew up in Chicago and ran with a street gang.  In the gang there were a few types known as 'gators' ( a contraction of the work 'instigators').  These were the gang leaders.  They were the ones who had the ideas.   The idea may have been to trash someone's car or to murder someone.  The 'gators' came up with the idea, made the plans, spelled out the details, told the various gang members their specific duties, and instigated the action."

   "Certain criminal types are born leaders....Nazi Germany illustrates what happens when people from the gutter become the leaders of the government.  The Nazi leaders were a gang of thieves and mass murderers.  They lied, cheated, and bullied their way to power.  They launched the nation on a course of crime and conflict."

   Sir Hartley Shawcross of the British delegation described the atrocities committed in the concentration camps:  "People were worked, beaten, and starved to death - if they were not murdered on arrival.  Human hair was baled for commercial purposes and used for stuffing mattresses.  Tattooed human skin was made into lampshades.  Human fat was used to make soap.  Gold teeth were extracted from corpses, melted into ingots, and shipped to the Reichsbank."  He summed it up by saying, "Mass murder had become a state industry, with byproducts."

   Chilling, isn't it?  The abortion industry is one that comes to mind here, but there are so many more!

A MAN IS A MAN

A MAN IS A MAN





   This guy woke up this morning and decided he was a woman.  He still has all of his "man parts" but he says he is a woman.  He decided to wear lace underwear and put on a dress.  He applied makeup to his face.  He says he is a woman.

   Pre-school children know he is a man, even when he dresses up and plays make believe.

   His DNA says he is a man.  Does DNA lie?  If DNA lies, why are we convicting people on DNA evidence?  If DNA can be used as evidence, HE IS A MAN!!!!!

   We have got to stop being manipulated into bowing down to the froward crowd.  Sexual perversion is not to be condoned or promoted.  It is time to stand up for common sense and protect our families.

   What job are we paying our elected officials to do?  How many times have they turned their backs on common sense and promoted killing of babies, funding the killing of babies, punished Christians for opting out of sexual perversion, "clinging to our guns and Bible"?  It is time to burn up the phone lines to D.C.  EVERY time a story comes across the wires about our officials allowing some senseless act to be perpetrated, even by our President, we need to bombard D.C. with phone calls.  Then, we need to vote them out of office and cut off their pensions.  There is no need to pay them to oppress us.

   I know there is an indictment against Mike McCarty, but compared to Todd Fontenot, he is my choice.  I am impressed with Keith Strahan.  He has run a good campaign without lies like his opponent.  Speaking of which, Wayne Christian has been falsely attacked by Gary Gates.  We really need to let these scumballs know that we don't tolerate their false smear campaigns.  The elected offices should first of all be campaigned for with integrity.

   Have you noticed how many times the "news" media get facts wrong?  There are no published corrections any more.  They just go about their "business" as if all they "report" is fact.  Hello, Brian Williams.

   I accessed Fox Cable News recently and there was Jon Scott saying that Presidential candidate Ted Cruz is "a son of immigrant parents".  Since when did his American mother become an immigrant?  Then  Jon and Jenna Lee referred to the foreign invasion of our country as "compassion".  Really?  Where is the compassion for my children and grandchildren?  We have laws in this country that need to be enforced and reinforced to protect natural born Americans.  It is manipulation and political correctness run amok!  These "reporters" need to research the propaganda they are spreading and report facts.  "Fair and balanced" indeed!

   Speaking of "natural born", do you know that only "natural born" citizens are qualified to be President of the United States of America?  Marco Rubio's Cuban born parents were not citizens of  the United States of America when he was born, which makes him an "anchor baby".  He is not a natural born citizen, but simply a citizen; you could even argue that he is a foreigner, also.  Therefore, he is not qualified to be President of America.  I posted about this back in June of this year.  Please see "Marco Rubio's Qualifications for President".  Please note that "naturalized" is not the same as "natural born".

   Frank VanderSloot, billionaire, endorsed Marco Rubio recently. When asked why he chose Rubio, his response was, he is "the best informed and most articulate candidate running" right now.  Well, Obama was articulate also but his vision and ideals are wrong for this country; and so are Rubio's,  Why can't these billionaires pick a candidate that is right for this country?  Let me answer this question:  they are in it for themselves, not for this country.

   During this political season, pay attention to how all the television media are trying to keep us from voting for Ted Cruz for President.  They give shout outs for many candidates for what is reported that they do, positions they take.  However, they ignore how Senator Cruz has been standing for The Constitution of The Untied States for years, not just during this political season.  Read his biography or go to his campaign page and read about some of his accomplishments.

   The Washington cartel and main stream media are afraid of Ted Cruz.  They are against Americans.  I say, "test the spirits".  Know the truth and the truth will make you free!  What do you say?

VOTING GUIDE FOR TEXAS, NOVEMBER 3, 2015

Proposition 1: FOR
   The Constitutional amendment increasing the amount of the residence homestead exemption from ad valorem taxation for public school purposes from $15,000 to $25,000, providing for a reduction of the limitation on the total amount of ad valorem taxes that may be imposed for those purposes on the homestead of an elderly or disabled person to reflect the increased exemption amount, authorizing the legislature to prohibit a political subdivision that has adopted an optional residence homestead exemption from ad valorem taxation from reducing the amount of or repealing the exemption, and prohibiting the enactment of a law that imposes a transfer tax on a transaction that conveys fee simple title to real property.
   This is a tax break on school taxes for the elderly and disabled.

Proposition 2:  FOR
  The constitutional amendment authorizing the legislature to provide for an exemption from ad valorem taxation of all or part of the market value of the residence homestead of the surviving spouse of a 100% or totally disabled veteran who died before the law authorizing a residence homestead exemption of such a veteran took effect.
   This is to honor the veteran by not penalizing the surviving spouse with increased taxes upon the death of the veteran.

Proposition 3: AGAINST
   The constitutional amendment repealing the requirement that state officers elected by voters statewide reside in the state capital.
   How stupid is this!  Of course you want your employees at the job site.  

Proposition 4: AGAINST
   The constitutional amendment authorizing the legislature to permit professional sports team charitable foundations to conduct charitable raffles.
   This looks like a case of your lobbyists at work.

Proposition 5: AGAINST
   The constitutional amendment to authorize counties with a population of 7,500 or less to perform private road construction and maintenance.
   Why would you want the county tax money to create and maintain private roads?  Only for rich people!

Proposition 6: FOR
   The constitutional amendment recognizing the right of the people to hunt, fish, and harvest wildlife subject to laws that promote wildlife conservation.
   This is an amendment to recognize that hunting and fishing by traditional methods are the preferred methods of managing and controlling wildlife population.  This helps keep the liberals at bay.

Proposition 7:  AGAINST
  The constitutional amendment dedicating certain sales and use tax revenue and motor vehicle sales, use,and rental tax revenue to the state highway fund to provide funding for nontolled roads and the reduction of certain transportation-related debt. 
   While this looks good on the surface, there should be a lot of discussion on this subject to verify this is the best way to handle the highways.  It ties up a lot of revenue specifically on roads, so if there is a downturn in the economy, the state's other services may suffer.

BREITBART'S SEPTEMBER PRIMARY POLL RESULTS

   www.breitbart.com  has released the results of the Breitbart September GOP Presidential Primary.  Voters were asked for their first, second, and third choice.  Out of 171,862 votes cast, the first choice of 36% of the voters was Donald Trump.  Ted Cruz won 18% for the voter's first choice, followed by Dr. Ben Carson with 13%. 
  
   But let's look a little closer at the results.  For second choice, Donald Trump only received 8%, Ted Cruz had 18% and Dr. Ben Carson received 20% of the second place votes.

   Now, the third choice of the voters were:  Ted Cruz with 10% and Dr. Ben Carson with 15%.  Donald Trump did not register in the third choice category.



   So, adding the votes cast for first, second, and third choice were:  Dr. Ben Carson with 48%; Ted Cruz with 46%; and Donald Trump with 44%.  Maybe this shows that we really need to stop listening to main stream media.  Aren't they pushing Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio?  smh!

   Donald Trump has stirred up a firestorm for saying that John McCain is not a war hero, even though he was a Prisoner of War.  I was personally cussed out on social media for distinguishing the two.  After seeking clarification, I conceded the point that the Senator deserves the title of "war hero".
 
   There really was a difference when I was growing up.  Elvis Presley accepted the call to serve.  He was labeled "patriotic" for serving.  Audy Murphy was labeled "war hero" for his many distinguished, selfless acts of courage in protecting his fellow soldiers, disregarding his own safety.  Those captured by the enemy were labeled "prisoners of war".  None of the labels were intended to subtract from the commitment or courage of any who served.
 
   Aren't we all weary of politicians?  When Donald Trump attacked Senator McCain regarding his military service, my social media lit up.  Those who served in the military felt personally attacked by his remarks.  My disclaimer is that I did not enlist.  One of my very respected facebook "friends" pointed out that a POW is a hero for "putting their ass on the line and having to endure such a thing".  He went on to say that if our men and women faced the enemy and took the fight to them, he would consider them a hero.  Point taken.
 
   Our dads, mothers, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, aunts, uncles all who served in a time of war are heroes.  I have to agree with my "friend".  Maybe he should school Mr. Trump.

   And this in today from William Bigelow at www.breitbart.com:  U. S. Representative Lois Capps, D. from the 24th district in California has introduced a U. S. House resolution calling for the ban of the use of more words.  The latest words to be offensive to the democrats are.....wait for it...."husband" and "wife"!  Wouldn't you know?  In full disclosure, Mrs. Capps has had two husbands according to her facebook page.

   Rep. Lois Capps has decided marriage should no longer reference "husband" and "wife".  She is not alone!  The bill, H.R. 2976, has 31 Democrat cosponsors in the House, 11 of which represent different districts of California.

   You can read the bill in it's entirety at www.Congress.gov.   Mrs Capps et. al.  are trying to change wording in our laws dating back to 1941 with her proposed amendments.  Shame be upon every American who has ever lived who believed that marriage is between a man and a woman!  Such homophobes!  Surely normal Americans just want to be mean to homosexuals!

   While introducing this bill,  she had the nerve to make a statement that ".....words in our laws have meaning...."   She went even further when she said "our values as a country are reflected in our laws.   Since she is the one who said, "words in our laws have meaning", tell me why The Supreme Court of The United States didn't read all of these words describing marriage that she is trying to go back and edit?!?  Our values as a country is not reflected by what 5 idiots on the Supreme Court decree!

   Please contact these elected Representatives and let them know what the meaning of the word "marriage" is.  Now is the time to stand up and be heard!  You didn't have anything to do with passing abortion, but here is your chance to take a stand on marriage!
