The main stream media is at it again.  Today the report on the television is that Obamacare has been voted down.  That is just not true.  The House of Representatives has voted to defund it when they voted on a stop-gap continuing resolution to keep the government funded.  The Senate now has to vote on the bill, which President Obama has sworn to veto.
President Obama has given passes to everyone except hard working Americans. What started out being what Democrats insisted was merely way to provide uninsured Americans with the same kinds of coverage and choices that members of Congress have has turned into an albatross.  Now, Congress has decided they don't want to be forced into the Obamacare system.
Members of Congress who voted for Obamacare initially managed to dump themselves out of their existing health care coverage.  Under Section 1312 of the law, they are to be enrolled in health insurance exchange plans, just like many working Americans, and will lose existing coverage in their popular and successful Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHBP).  And, just like millions of working Americans dumped out of their existing coverage, they lose their employer's subsidy for insurance plus the generous federal and state tax breaks that accompany employer-based coverage.
The Obama Administration recently "fixed" this unheard of oversight by Congress by providing special subsidies for Members and congressional staff to reduce their premium costs in the Obamacare exchanges.
The U.S. Senator from Louisiana, David Vitter, proposed an amendment recently that would overturn this action by the Obama Administration.  There is no statutory authority either in Obamacare or in Title V of the U.S. Code, for the U.S. Office of Personnel Management to make government insurance contributions on behalf of federal employees to any plan other than an FEHBP plan.  The original Obamacare law provided for employers to make a defined contribution for workers in the exchanges ( a "free choice voucher") but Congress scrapped it.  What that means, is that they want to delete our employer contributions to our insurance premiums but they think they are more important than we are.  They want to keep their employer contributions to their premiums.
Senator Harry Reid was furious with Senator Vitter's proposed amendment, which was co-sponsored by Senators Mike Enzi (R-WY), Mike Lee (R-UT), Ron Johnson (R- WI), Dean Heller (R-NV), and Jim Inhofe (R-OK).  The prospect of having to vote on Vitter’s amendment shut down floor debate on the bill last week.
Senator Vitter’s amendment would do two things. First, the President, Vice President, Cabinet secretaries, and all political appointees—the policy making agents of the executive branch—would be enrolled in the health insurance exchanges, just like millions of other Americans. Second, Members of Congress and their staffs—including all committee and leadership office staff—would also be enrolled in the health insurance exchanges under the same terms and conditions as other Americans. In other words, Congress and its staff would not get any special subsidies at taxpayer expense for their health insurance.
Oh, and did I mention that illegal immigrants are exempt?  Yes, they are.  Just hard working Americans are penalized.
So, we still need to sign the petition at AND  contact your Congressmen.  Let your voice be heard!

I would like to congratulate American Patriots for getting involved in taking our country back.  It is working.  The House Republicans passed a test vote on Thursday to defund the monstrosity of Obamacare.  Thanks to all of you who signed the petition at , by Senator Ted Cruz.  We have sent more than 1.3 million signatures to our Congressmen in Washington.  They are listening.  That is why the House has taken the first step.
The House took the first step Thursday, voting 230-192 to bring a bill to the floor Friday that would fund most of the government but would withhold funding for the health care law.  If the House passes its bill Friday, it  shifts the debate to the Senate, where House Speaker Boehner says it will be up to a vocal group of Republican senators to rally the votes.   That won't be easy with such out-of-touch Senators as John McCain and Lindsey Graham.
So, we are asking you to continue the good fight.  Please encourage three of your closest friends or relatives to sign the petition, then to pick up the phone and contact their Senators.  You remember the Supreme Court ruled Obamacare is only constitutional because it is a tax.  Tell Washington we don't need more taxes, we need jobs.  This is not only a tax, it is a job killer.
Whether you served in the armed forces or not, it is your turn to fight for our freedom.  We may not get another chance.  ARE YOU WITH US?

This is your fight.  The Progressives have taken over your country.  What are you going to do about it?  If you do nothing, you are saying you agree with the Progressives on Obamacare.  Let your opinions be heard.
United States Senator Ted Cruz, from the great state of Texas has told Breitbart News today that Congress is terrified of grass roots movements.  He  said they don't want to be held accountable.  I say they need to stand for their principles.  Senator Cruz has asked us all to sign the petition at and he wants us all to contact our Congressmen for the next 20 days to let them know we don't want Obamacare.  If it ain't good enough for them, don't force it on us.
Americans in Colorado just fired their state Senators, Angela Giron (D. Pueblo) and John Morse (D. Colorado Springs) for trying to implement gun control.  It appears that the good citizens of Colorado were being denied a voice on the hearing concerning the gun ban proposal.  The only thing they had left was to fire the elected officials.
Did I mention that Sen. Ted Cruz said that the Congressmen were terrified of grass roots movements?  He said the battle is between us, the everyday American citizen and the entrenched politician.  It is ingrained in every true American, every Patriot who has been proud of their country since they were born, not just since 2008 like First Lady Michelle Obama; It is ingrained in our fiber to root for the underdog.  Now, we can not only root for him, but we can fight with him.
I am not big on signing petitions, but I signed this one, and I hope you will join me.  Don't delay.  The shoes in the picture at the beginning of this post was from the victims who perished in the Nazi death camps.  It is time to stand up and be counted.

I confess that I video taped today's show of  Face the Nation.  Bob Scheiffer had Mike Rogers (R. Michigan) on his show today.  Representative Rogers was appointed as Chairman of  the House Intelligence Committee in 2011 and "is a national leader on national security policy", according to his website.  So, he serves in the United States House of Representatives, representing Michigan's Eighth Congressional District.

Mike Rogers 109th Congress photo.jpg
Prior to being elected to The House of Representatives, Rep. Rogers was a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army through the ROTC at the University of Michigan.  He then served as an FBI special agent.  He was first elected to Congress in 2001.  Thank you, Sir, for your service to our Country.
Today, the show was about the ramifications on inaction on the part of the U.S. regarding President Obama's "red line" to Bashir Assad.  Rep. Rogers verbalized his concern that inaction after the President drew the "red line" would send Iran, North Korea, and others a negative message concerning our leadership on the world stage.  Mr. Scheiffer concurred with that assessment.
I guess these guys have not heard what America is saying about President Obama's "red line".  As far as that goes, maybe they have not listened to ANYTHING America is saying about President Obama and his Administration.
His you know that he is marching Susan Rice out to brief Congress on what the President wants to do and why?  Can you imagine?  Susan Rice?   Maybe this is why Americans are saying, "no" to President Obama.  He had Susan Rice try to convince America that an obscure video was the cause of death for  Ambassador Stephens, Tyrone Woods, Sean Smith, and Glen Doherty in Benghazi last year.  She even went on Face the Nation to do it!  Again, I say the Obama Administration has a credibility problem.
Where is his support from leaders of other nations?  This guy said he was going to "make the world love us" after  "President Bush alienated them".  Who will stand with President Obama?  All I hear are crickets.
I have been concerned that most of the elected officials in Washington have either been on drugs or "playing poker on their phones" that has resulted in their being too distracted to focus on their jobs.  Going back to the Washington Post piece on October 19, 2012, I also have to consider that the information they receive may be faulty:

CIA documents supported Susan Rice’s description of Benghazi attacks

By David Ignatius,October 19, 2012
The Romney campaign may have misfired with its suggestion that statements by President Obama and U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice about the Benghazi attack last month weren’t supported by intelligence, according to documents provided by a senior U.S. intelligence official.
“Talking points” prepared by the CIA on Sept. 15, the same day that Rice taped three television appearances, support her description of the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate as a reaction to Arab anger about an anti-Muslim video prepared in the United States. According to the CIA account, “The currently available information suggests that the demonstrations in Benghazi were spontaneously inspired by the protests at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo and evolved into a direct assault against the U.S. Consulate and subsequently its annex. There are indications that extremists participated in the violent demonstrations.”
The CIA document went on: “This assessment may change as additional information is collected and analyzed and as currently available information continues to be evaluated.” This may sound like self-protective boilerplate, but it reflects the analysts’ genuine problem interpreting fragments of intercepted conversation, video surveillance and source reports.

I am sorry, Rep. Rogers.  I cannot see any support for this President to go to war with Syria.  America's biggest concern, at this point, is not what terrorists all over the world think of this country's resolve not to bomb Syria; America's biggest concern is WHO IN THIS ADMINISTRATION HAS THEIR FINGER ON OUR NUCLEAR BOMBS?  It is sad when we are more concerned about what our own government is doing than what world terrorists are.

We have been following this story for a while and decided it is time to share it with our viewers:  On August 25, 2013, reported that  Senior Master Sergeant Phillip Monk with a clean record for 19 years while serving in the United States Air Force, was relieved of duty for not promoting the homosexual lifestyle.  Apparently, according to his new commander, Major Elisa Valenzuela, "supporting gay marriage was now military policy".  It is no longer a matter of "don't ask, don't tell", it is now a push for homosexuals to marry AND for every member of the military to agree with that agenda.
According to the United States Constitution, Americans have the "right to freedom of religion" and the "right to free speech".  If you volunteer to serve this nation in the military, you give up ALL of your constitutional freedoms that you are allegedly fighting to protect.
Is it just me, or is there something severely wrong with this picture?
Then, there was a bakery in Gresham, Oregon, yes, I said "was", that refused to make a wedding cake for homosexuals.  Laurel Bowman filed a complaint with Oregon Department of Justice but was told to take it up with BOLI because it was more of a civil rights issue than a consumer protection case.  The bakery refused to make a "wedding cake" for Ms./Mr./?  Bowman and Rachel Cryer

'It's discrimination': Newlyweds Laurel and Rachel Bowman-Cryer, left to right, complained to the state when Sweet Cakes by Melissa refused to serve them based on their sexual orientation

and that is allegedly a civil rights violation?  Well, that is a high crime if ever I heard of one!  See, they did not just want a "wedding cake", they wanted everyone in America to validate their sexual perversion.
It was not so long ago that homosexuality was classified as a mental illness.  In 1952, the original Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) listed homosexuality among the sociopathic personality disturbances.  In 1968, DSM II removed homosexuality from the sociopathic list, categorizing it with OTHER SEXUAL DEVIATIONS.  In 1973, the DSM III changed it's position on homosexuality.  The president-elect of the American Psychiatric Association that year, was Dr. John P. Spiegel, homosexual.
The removal of the diagnosis of homosexuality from the DSM is comparable to obesity added to the American Medical Association's diagnoses.  These decisions are purely political.
So, Aaron and Melissa Klein, owner of the bakery, closed their business in response to an investigation reported on August 14th by BOLI claiming that the bakery may have violated the "Oregon Equality Act of 2007", which states that sexual orientation may not be used to deny services to customers.  That law is to be applied to employment, housing, and public accommodations.  I saw nothing stating it is to be used to force a private company to promote agendas that go against their religious beliefs.
What a sad day for America that our own government and our military are targeting and persecuting Christians.  Remember the famous words of  Martin Niemöller: "First they came for the communist......."

Breitbart's Matthew Boyle reports today that U.S. Representative Jeff Duncan from South Carolina grilled John Kerry in regards to attacking Syria.  There may be hope for our country yet.  You can view the video at
In essence, Rep. Duncan said the same thing I posted on August 30th, "PRESIDENT OBAMA TO ATTACK SYRIA", that the media and the Obama Administration are not credible.  I agree that we should not go to war with Syria on the basis of what this Administration's media is telling us.  There is no trust in the media, no trust in President Obama's Administration.
If we are really concerned about the security of  The United States of America, we need to SECURE THE BORDERS  and ABOLISH THE IRS.
